Here in Mrs S’s office, two small pictures keep company with the coffee. Violets lean toward the window, and the city carries on beyond the glass.

Stories for a better world

A place for photographs, words, and the people we carry with us. For finding beauty in the everyday, and giving it somewhere to stay.

Out with Greta

Mrs S rides a vintage motorcycle through Philadelphia with Greta, a Saint Bernard wearing a helmet and goggles, in the sidecar.

Sometimes the notebook can wait. Mrs S takes the motorcycle, and Greta takes the sidecar—one Saint Bernard, one dog helmet, and a very fine pair of goggles.

There is a whole neighborhood to notice.
